The Price of Belonging

Do you ever notice how someone can connect with you one-on-one, yet treat you differently in a group?

For a long time, I took ownership of other people's discomfort.

Then I realized something that changed everything:

Someone else's discomfort does not define my worth.

Real belonging never requires you to betray who you are to gain acceptance.

Life is too short to seek approval from people who only accept parts of you.

The people who truly belong in your life will celebrate you in public, support you in private, and encourage you to be your authentic self.

Are you changing who you are to belong, or are you choosing relationships where you can truly be yourself?
